Potato Head, Bali

So this was my previous trip with my schoolmates, this trip actually for a school's farewell since all of us the 12th graders will all mostly gone to collage. The trip handed in Bali, we were there for 6 days. Since almost all of the student in the school join this program, so we have to separate to some busses. From all of the day we spent there were a tour schedule, there was a day that we have to gone free anywhere we want. So that day i choose to go to Potato Head in Seminyak, the place actually really famous recently because from my perception Bali has a lot of changes, from the newly made highway until the big development in Seminyak, Ubud, and many other places. And Potato Head is one of the growth construction in Bali, this place is quite new with so many this kind of place parallel with this restaurant. This place actually not a restaurant, it's like a bar&restaurant with DJs at night. There were so many places looks like this because nowadays so many places around Bali and these kind of places are really famous. These kind of place actually sells place and view more than the foods. But Potato Head is still good, the foods are not too bad and the place is really good, and it's very recommended to go this place when almost sunset, because you can take beautiful photos and see the view here.

double museum day

tadaaaaa , as i said i'll come back to the museum for the second times . And i went to National Museum of Singapore last week , i came home 30 minutes earlier than another wednesday, because there was a fire drill . i continued the touring there and these are what i found there .... 

it's like the old design of furniture which made of marble, the design was so classic and it seems so luxury .

 and these are the sculpture . it was made in 16th century .

the paints were made in 17th century , they were classic . I also found the paint which are made before 17th century but these paint are more colorful than the paint which are before the 17th century .

and the touring didn't finished there, because after that i go a straight to the Singapore Art Museum . But i think the National Museum of Singapore is better because the things are more classic than in Singapore Art Museum . Actually this two museum are different , the things in Singapore Art Museum are newly designed on the other hand the things in National Museum of Singapore are the historical things .

There also has Sculptures, Paints, Objects, Statues, and a lot of digital videos .

FIRST TIME , FIRST POST

Hi guys, welcome to my blog . I'm Venysia, I'm Indonesian and I just moved to Singapore a month ago. Now I'm on my first year studying in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts . Actually I'm not the type of person who like to write a blog, I just made it for my assignment . But then here is my first post on my very first blog :)

Today i went to National Museum of Singapore which is near my campus ( i never been to museum before even in my own country) and again it's for my assignment . I was looking for an object which is can be connected with art in 18th - 19th century and finally i found them . There's a lot of classic things such as...

The top one is Chaping , I've seen it before but I don't really know what is it and what's the function of it, but then after read the short information I know it worn by very small children and it hung with a silver chain from the waist. The second are civil marriage scroll - holder, wedding tea cups and pair of man's cufflinks. And the last but not least is Kamcheng .

And I've plan to come back to that museum to see another things there because i haven't finished the touring . So....... it's going to be continue :D
